Ohhh yes that does look nice.Hope you have a good supply of motion sickness tablets on board.Have a full size profile of a Spit with a cloudy blue sky behind it and it will look great.Wasn,t that movie shown at the Imperial War museum as well?I did have it as a download from the internet but damned if I can find it now..

    Welcome

What program are you using for the Flight sim?If I may I can recall Dave is building up a Spitfire Cockpit section to run Rowans Battle of Britain. His website is here http://simhardware.org/index.html .Been busy with other projects of late but he is a nice bloke with heaps of skills and info on setting one up.Good hunting…

You go first old bean seeing your a bit ahead of what we are up to.Can show you our nice 3d Cad version of the panel itself though.Funny story really.Spent ages marking out a panel template by hand onto a piece of tin ,complete with all the hole centres, cutouts etc.Took me about 4 Sundays in a row to do it.Turned out great. Then our 3d whizz turns up saying he did one up in Cad in two days…Mongrel.Oh well that was fun I thought….I just love it when a plan comes together like that…..Now you know why I,m on the verge of insanity…….

I think we might be able to get a set of drawings together off an original set of parts to do up a small batch. We have a goose neck made out of sheet steel which we can copy off( don,t think it is original). Will ring my mate who has the lower ones that we can copy off and machine up.
