If a single spit was broken up and the resulting parts put into a variety of other reproductions or builds.Would the classification be noted as “contains parts of Spitfire(insert serial here)” to all the resulting airframes?Rocketeer, show us yours and I,ll show you ours!!We are on F11 as well..Cheers

Also the status card could be wrong as well. The info would only be as accurate as what the desk jockey would be writing(or not writing) in it.We found a ten month gap in our reproduction aircrafts history from when it crashed to when it came down here to be repaired.New info that has come to light says she was still on opps.

Oh my god.Now that is what I call a website.Thank you for showing us the light as the only serials site I have seen on Spits were the Castle Bromwich website and the “Spitfire History “book.

Flight Lieutenant Roberts Christian (Robert) Dunstan, DSO..Sorry know he isn,t a pilot.Had leg amputated in Egypt, returned to Australia then applied to be a gunner.Completed training then over to England to 460 squadron to be an air gunner in Lancs. After war became polli.

Maybe its a new cost cutting exercise. The bombs are dropped and the GI’s run out and catch them before they are damaged….I’l stand in the corner then:D
