Ive been told aware that a “restoration” on the 3rd TBM Avenger that was imported into Australia but has for a while sat on ground is now restarted recently and underway in southern QLD.
It is in a hangar with it been worked on back to flying status… with no time frame given.

Mate the drawing was fantastic..Am going to resend the armour plate mount drawings.Have a drama with my CAD software not displaying measurements correctly so doing a reinstall :/

Going off a very hazy tinbasher memory I would go twice the original material thickness.
2024-t3 is the standard for general aircraft repairs.For High stress I would go 7075 T3 but is more expensive..
Trim guage is just a boost guage housing with a doohicky at the back for the bowden cable..Do have drawings for the internal mechanism if you want to go that far..Ps Tony have a new email addy.. 😉

I was always under the impression all four bladed hubs used wooden blades to help dampen the harmonics of the higher power Merlins..Meh but what do I know 😉
With the frames being part of the skins I would think maybe just the stringers could be salvaged and maybe smaller fittings and castings..
