It does seem to me to be a huge coincidence that Assange is accused of sex crimes the day after he annoyed many of the world’s governments, but the nature of the charges seems a little ridiculous as well.

Sick of hearing about these EMA protests now – shut up, get back to school and be thankful you got it in the first place you ungrateful gits! 😡

I think the problem here is that the EMA was introduced because the school leaving age was raised to 18. Previously, 16 year olds could enter the jobs market, now they have to stay on, whether their families can afford it or not.

Maybe cheap to purchase, but how about maintaining them? 😉

Even if the nuke is a “fizzle”. The equivalent of a “dirty bomb” leaves the area uninhabitable (Seoul?).

Despite the hype about them, dirty bombs really aren’t all that effective. The amount of radioactive material in a bomb is quite small, and spread over a large area by an explosion it would be in either lumps large enough to identify and dispose of safely or spread so thin that rain would wash it away.

There is a reason that they were never developed much in the cold war – they don’t work well. The explosion is probably more damaging than the fallout.

The KC-390 is an Embraer design, from Brazil. It is not an airbus design, you might be confusing it with the ‘KC-330’ conversion.

The UK company BAE systems sold its shares in Airbus in 2007, but in any case BAE is a private company.

The warped world they live in is their own world, totally unaware of the real world and real people around them Or is it simply pig-ignorance?

    It’s that 2nd one.

Most people may be of reasonable intelligence and sensibilities, but some are, for want of a more diplomatic word, stupid.

swerve, which are the transports that the israelis can fit a refueling kit ?
or is it that the system is flexible enough to do it in any aircraft ?

Given that KC-390 is being designed with tanking in mind….

Might be time to start exploring the CFTs that were suggested for Typhoon.

Will a targeted killing of Kim and his immediate family neutralize North korea or will that lead to war?

    War

If not this, then an internal war within NK over power.

No, from a Boeing point of view no contract is ok. The KC-135 is a Boeing product and keeping it flying will means work for them. While a delay would allow them to offer a KC-787, once the second line for the 787 is ready and the delays for the airliner customers have been dealt with.

A KC-787 might be a great aircraft, but how many years is that going to take? Not sure that the USAF could wait that long.

Which is why a proportionate response is called for. If NK is unprepared to make reparations for their hostile acts then firing back in self defense is perfectly justifiable.
