Most quad operators have abandoned the idea and it has become the stuff of legend, in fact if ever it happens again “Airliners.net” will explode with pictures!

Having said that, I’ll bet the E-190’s don’t make it 43 year in service like the DC-9s did.
I’d take that bet 😉

Cheers Jethro, shame it’ll be too late for me.
Anyone know if it’ll be popping into EDI tomorrow, and at what time?
Does THY actually need the 380s?
They will if they want to be taking on Emirates.

Nice varied selection, and great to see some of the innards of the whirlybirds.
Nice, I really like the DL B767.
According to EASA, you need one or more strobe lights. Therefore, no specific requirement for one at the rear.
There is a requirement for position lights to be as far apart as possible – the red light is on the left side, and the green light is on the right side – and for a white to be as far aft as possible, or one of the aft end of each wingtip.
Where were these taking?
It has been a while since I’ve been at Glasgow.
I like the ones of the 777F most of all, a lovely looking aircraft.
Nice variety.
Not much room for error there with the S2000. A couple of feet and it would be a bad day for the pilot.
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
