I think Ryanair prefer to cancel flights rather than risk delays, which affect their on-time statistics.
Brilliant, the BA 777 is a stunning photo, in a collection of already great photos. well done!
Piston Power – the part used on the Lancaster has to be the genuine article and not some aftermarket part. Any manufacture of parts would need to be approved by the Lancaster engineering authority and the company involved would need to be approved for the manufacture of the part and also for the testing of said item.
Therefore it’s both very expensive and time consuming to manufacture any aircraft part whether it’s for a new or old aircraft
Incidently, who does provide design authority over the Avro Lancaster?
Oooo, nice. What was the N72700 doing there?
A pointless article, seems to be more opinion than fact.
3000m isn’t the impossible, if they want it bad enough.
Hat off to anyone having the “desire” to be a teacher, it is not something you would see me doing.
The teachers have no real power to control situations, and are generally the real victims.

I was at EDI today, and I can’t help thinking that your excellent pictures show much more interesting times at the airport.
All those quiet Airbus and Boeing and Embraer, were a little boring.
Surviving name to be United
Surviving colour scheme and logo to be Continental’s!!!
Hmm, not as bad as I thought. Should be quite nice to see the colour scheme on the B744/A319/A320.
What a shame, sad to see Continental gobbled into the UAL-machine.
Nice report.
I remember when both aircraft where shiney and new. 😀
Is it just me, or have IndiGo been handing back quite a few aircraft? If so, what are they going to do with 150 more?
India seems to be a crowded market, I just don’t see the long-term survival of many airlines, indivudally.
Is this just the 737NG’s?
Wouldn’t it be great though if there was a 3-way merger involving CO, UA & US…now that would be some merger, and a pretty big airline!?:D
No, it wouldn’t. It would be a terrible mess.
