Come on over. Join the list of people that sit in the cafe at Popham and stare at the rain!

It’ll be good to see you.

Ran the engine up to full chat today. Sounded great. Static RPM was good, oil pressure good, Cylinder head temp good. Noise VERY good.

    May do that again tomorrow.

    Hi guys,
just a quickie to re-affirm the members-only situation at the first two VAC events in 2005 are NOT of VAC’s own doing…it is a condition of use of the venue airfield that only VAC members may attend…let’s hope we can welcome others again in future, but in the meantime please bear with us,thank you

for me it’ll be pretty much business as usual in 2005…..
arranging some very interesting speakers for Oxfordshire Aviation Group(http://www.communigate.co.uk/oxford/oag) and continuing to travel as far and wide as I can experiencing the wonderful world of aviation in all it’s many forms.Have a great Xmas everyone and look forward to meeting some of you again in 2005

BTW…if you see a silver Skoda Octavia estate suitably zapped at an airfield near tap on the window and say “hello”…it could be me

    st4eve,
regretably…NO,it appears the telephone number I have has been changed and the new one is ex-directory…
the only thing I can suggest is to send a letter to Mr Peter Fahey,
    Stanford-in-the-Vale
    FARINGDON
    Oxon
bit of a long-shot with an incomplete address, but usually the local village postie will know where the letter should go….certainly worth a try
sorry couldn’t be of more help

    hi,guys,
you may have noticed that ArmWaver has been a little quiet of late…..
FEAR NOT,I can report that he is alive and well and settling into his new job at RAF Lakenheath quite nicely…last spoke to him Monday evening when he acted as quiz-master for Oxfordshire Aviation Group’s annual Xmas Quiz.
The reason we’ve not heard from him here is that he is currently without internet access….he has asked me to act as go-between re-Turweston and Vintage Aircraft Club matters so if you have any queries keep posting them and I will get in touch with Arm Waver for you
    happy landings

totally agree Melvyn, have heard ****’s talk twice(including a visit by him to Oxfordshire Aviation Group) and thoroughly enjoyed it both times…would gladly recommend it to any other groups/clubs etc in the “speakers” market
BTW…Melvyn have replied to your PMs re-you visiting us but they don’t appear to have been read??????
