    I’ve just watched a bit of the Terry & Gabby show on Ch. 5 (while on the phone, so not 100% listening) about Concorde’s retirement, Jock ***** ? , Concorde pilot (he’s on a Concorde documentary this Sunday evening) stated that ‘we’ are trying to keep one flying for posterity/special occasions/show, he did not elaborate as to who ‘we’ are, is he a current BA pilot ?, could the ‘we’ be BA ? here’s hoping !

    Looks like HMS Pioneer it is

    In one of the pics on that page, she is seen dumping Avengers & Barracudas & the history says that she dumped aircraft off of the Australian coast.
    Of course as noted by Steve Young, the Firefly V had a 4 bladed prop, so maybe a mk 1 with the lower cowling & rad missing ? after all the aircraft were probably on their way to be dumped.:(
