At least it has the Garmin GPS and the Bendix below. It`s kinda standard issue these days.

The blackish colour might come from the smokey engines….but I never saw such black blades until now. What`s the story behind this incident ?

It`s interesting th cockpit of the 5V. It`s black instead of the green and kinda empty.

i have always been fond of the hind…a mean looking beast dont you think???… has enyone have eny photos of the early hind, the one with the big [green house] canopy…also is there eny of these early mil-24s still active enywhere.

press, i dont think its running. Theres no dust cloud or heat comming from the exhaust and the rotor shadow doesnt look blurry. I guess the photo was taken in movement or low quality.

The rotors are turning, trust me on that. One main blade weighs 120kg…the blades don`t just stand straight when they`re not turning….they bend down…quite a lot. In the photo the main blades are straight.
Mi-8/17s are a part of my daily life so I know how it should look like. Even on the small EC-120/135 the blades bend down when they`re not turning.

The Lybian Mi-8 in the first photo…is it me…or there`s no one inside…and the helicopter is running ? Take a look at the main rotor.
It even has PZUs.

Link not working…but Su-33 takes off without a catapult. The carrier has the inlined ramp.

Well, they have lost Yak-130 to Al-555(?) and Aermacchi M-346 to Garrett F124, maybe they really get this one..

I think they built a MiG-29 out of those planes 😀
