Sniper`s dead. It became a Sparrow`s nest. I`ve seen it a little while ago.
Enough about the F-117 shot in Serbia.
The truth is…I shot it down!!! With my slingshot. No SA-3…no MiG-29…it was meeeee. Can we please move over… ?
So…let me draw the conclusion to this:
MiG-29 a very good plane…good potential…my own favourite
Combat record? Poor…almost non-existent…I say this with great pain in my heart, but the truth is the truth…I accept it.
Why this poor combat record?
Untrained pilots, overwhelming odds and old avionics.
And I, in just few sentences, solved the entire issue.
I know, it was me who posted this data a while ago π
Lets say the MiG and the Hornet are about equal.
LOL…are you color blind?! Take a look again at the numbers again. F-16 and MiG-29 are close in performance…the Hornet is a little behind.
Less than 1500 have been produced, the Cobra manouver is in my knowledge only doable with the -OVT version.
I must disagree. A…mm…small Cobra can be done with a serial model. Take a look at the Hungarians.
But the MiG-29M is the first model that can do the Pugachev`s Cobra….and it did it long before OVT was on the drawing boards. It is the first model with FBW.
The MiG-29 doesnt surpass the F-15, F-16 and F-18 in turn rates and acceleration.
However, it might outturn an F-15 at slow speed and outaccelerate (is that a word?) an F-18.
Oh…it does have better turn rates than F/A-18 and very close to F-16.

Tomcat…where did you hear that?
It`s a fakey, MIASCB
What they need to do now is send this thing to Paris or Farnborough and park it between a Yak-130 and an AEM-130 π
Do you think they`ll notice the difference, lol ?
It could be….but there are three things that don`t really add up.
1 – the antenna on the tail. It`s consistent with the new upgrades from Kazan and Ula-Ade or newer models
2 – the DISS-15 like bulge under the tail…or whatever it is, it`s further way back than normal…again consistent with newer models
3 – there`s the door. Of course..this can be retrofited from sliding to rolling
And there`s the square windows…again consistent with newer models. I haven`t seen an older model with square windows….wheather it was for VIP or military.
I think these are new helicopters.
Yes…Kenyan Police…my mistake.
There`s also at least one in some African country. They`re white with two black or blue stripes on the fuselaje. With the same type of door. I think it`s Ethiopian police helicopter.
Those Iraki Mi-17s are brand new.
1 – Machmeter
2 – Radioaltimeter
3 – Clock
4 – ?
5 – Altimeter
6 – Hole, lol
7 – ?
8 – HSI
9 – ?
10, 11 – Anunciator (I think)
12 – Engine RPM
13 – EGT
14 – Fuel Gage
15 – ?
16 – Artificial horison
17 – Stone age HUD
I think this stunt is more a show, and as such, proves how desperate Russia needs money for its airforce. Would be interesting to know how much they are paid forβ¦
As for precise flying, to touch down in the middle of a runway means you have to be within plus/minus 5 meters. This β if the hole is 57m wide and a Flanker has a span of some 15 m β would still leave at least 16 m on your side.
What would cause me more sorrow are the local winds, gusts and turbulences!
LOL, yeah…I think you are right. With the money earned from this stunt they`ll have enough money to pay Russian AF! Maybe after paying for everything Russian AF needs….they`ll have enough left to buy some new aircraft.
Do think before you post this kind of nonesense!
That is not a I.A.R.-99.
This is and 3rd, 4th and 5th is the I.A.R.-93.
