Personally I think that as the F117 is starting to be withdrawn from service…
F-117A is due to be withdrawn by end of 2008
…its replacement (Aurora or whatever) is already in service in some top secret units.
As has already been said the F117 was in service 10 years before it was first shown to the world so that means the F118(?) could have been in service since the mid ’90s …
A replacement for the F-117A, and also for F-111, might look like this:
If you are interested in prototypes, there is a dedicated website for this:
Very recommended, although it’s in french!
attached you find an example…
Looks like a KC-135 refueling a C-5, but the C-5 is at a higher altitude, (just finished or just beginning) so it appears larger – comments???
We had this problem before, in this very same thread. Look at #356 … #360 on page 12! Obviously, the pics are stiched together and have some overlap
Everybody who has travelled in Italy might have noticed that there method to park cars differs slightly from the rest of the EU. But I didn’t know it’s also used for Starfighters…
There is (or was) a black project aircraft at Groom Lake designated YF-24.
In another thread, we have already discussed the possible existence of a “black” aircraft wit the name YF-24, here:

Impressive and revolutionary as the new generation of aircraft are, the coming decade promises even more surprises according to the following article. I’m particularly keen on the VAATE program and the enhanced range and performance capabilities it will provide the F-22 and F-35. Simply amazing.
When I saw this first picture in the AIR FORCE Magazine Online article, it was like seeing an old friend again after several years!
I personally had some doubts about how serious this source is (http://www.abovetopsecret.com/pages/a17.html), but obviously the US Air Force – or at least their computer artist – take his inspiration (or is it more than inspiration?) from this source as well! Just compare the wing planform!
Just compare yourself:
and the bigges one I could find: an An-225 Mrija in Kiew
Believe it or not,it is actually the same airplane:) It is common to see in Google Earth these “ghosts”.
I thought it must be something like that… But what makes me wonder is that there are also three shadows on the ground. Can somebody explain how this commes into effect?
Are there 3 separate pics, superimposed??
3 in a row
3 Lufthansa Jumbos in a row, with only about 500 m between each two. My question: Is this a standart situation? Or isn’t it to close?
That’s Le Bourget museum, isn’t it Coach?
Here’s a little something for you all – let’s call it a first-post present 🙂
Yes it is!
I presume, Technik Museum Speyer or Auto- und Technikmuseum Sinsheim in Germany

sorry, not correct…
you might have a guess where to find this interesting collection of aircraft…
Hello fightingirish
I was asking the same question – here
