I have, quite a number of times as a matter of fact, and while the B747-400 does the job still, and does it well in terms of passenger comfort, it is an old and tired-looking aircraft in BA trim and looks as well-used as it is.

That’s only opinion and not actually fact, I like the 747 in BA trim, I have never flown on one but see them all the time at Cardiff and they look good, along with the 777s.
BA needs to remain proud of the national colours and the flag on the tail (as opposed to that world representitive stuff they tried), hopefully this will be maintained.

Most unusual pub name I’ve encountered is ‘The Pelican In Her Piety’ near Ogmore by Sea, S.Wales, nice old place and great food made on premises, ie not part of a chain.

The problem here is that generally singlies and people that have experienced break ups are going to say don’t do it, and those that are married or living with someone are going to say it’s great – the truth of course is somewhere in the middle.

Re the generation thing, I suppose interest in marriage has never changed, but years ago the social pressure to get married was far stronger than it is now.
Personally I think commitment is about living with someone, with some compromise, the actual marriage papers are irrelevant if everything else isok, blinding excuse for a drink and some cake if you do do it though!
