    I don’t understand?

They placed one of the Kuwaitis delegate (nbr 2) in an annex room among “less ranked” personal during the celebration dinner.

Given what the Italian Navy is accomplishing since more than a year in the Med, this won’t go further than the headline in the press.

    Boeing T-X First Look

Something wrong with the illustration. Given the dimensions of the trainee lost inside the cockpit, it’s not a trainer, but a flying class room.

Also with the structural lines on the nose-end and hood, it should be possible to make a 3d ISO view of the frwd section.

Maybe the lack of Su35 and J20 epidemic tune down any ogre appetite. The USN seems more focused now on replenishing its ordeal of modern ships.

The SH doesn’t shy against any mass produced potential opponents. So why would you rush yourself?

For LM, it is good also as the C has more growth potential if we talk about radical changes.

    My 2 cents only.

[An Egyptian Apache] fires on a group of escorted Mexican tourists in desert: a dozen dead

with the blessing of their police escort and the added security of an Apache military helicopter buzzing on the horizon, the Egyptian guide and his four drivers pulled about a mile off the road to prepare a meal.

It was then that the helicopter opened fire, killing at least a dozen people — including at least two visiting Mexicans — while wounding a tourist policeman and at least 10 others.
    […]
Some were gunned down as they tried to flee toward the top of a nearby sand dune [said] a resident of the area who arrived that night and saw the bodies in the sand.

    […]

Residents of the North Sinai say that the security forces’ reliance on air power and shoot-first tactics often lead to many civilian deaths. The Egyptian government, however, has acknowledged virtually no collateral civilian casualties. Instead, the government routinely releases only the numbers of “militants” it has killed. None of the assertions can be confirmed because the government bars independent journalists from entering the area.

DARPA demonstrates terrain-adaptive landing gear for helicopters

Folding legs sensing terrain contours were demonstrated on a lightweight unmanned rotorcraft.

Each leg has an integrated force-sensitive contact sensor in its foot. During landing, each leg extends and uses the sensor to determine in real time the appropriate angle to assume to ensure that the helicopter stays level without risking the rotor touching the landing area.

No. Rear delta imply a CG very close to main wheel (moment arm).

Also the dihedral on the canard reflect a longitudinal stability concern. Their new position also interact directly with the vertical fins to improve their effectiveness (and might also decrease side rcs).

I don’t want to be the B. Sweetman of the J20, but let me ensure you that this plane is not a high aoa performer.Post stall attempt would certain lead to departure. It might be able to play some trick at airshows with a closely monitored trajectory, but don’t expect much in acm. Massive canards well frwd of CG, deep boxy nose far aft delta (no horizontal tail) and micro managed vertical surface a la F117, all lead to a relaxed max aoa requirement ( but a front sector low RCS).

I see more SA buying more 15. They have been quite used (and proved in fact for the first time in history that Jabo can achieve a strategic objective by themselves – another striking achievement for the Eagle).

The 16 missile pack seemingly unveiled by Boeing couldn’t have been done without any clear incentives. With 12 Amraam and 4 wvr missiles, this baby is the perfect opponent to counter a large fleet of cheap Su30 (Iran).

    Notice:
It doesn’t mean that they won’t order more Typhoon in the future. Just that it makes more sense for them to force Iran into a larger buy now than latter (economically).

I think it was written somewhere that it has a flush inlet. So underside would be the best guess.
