Out -back -out – back…
Anna lost in the outback ?

Thanks Robbo – I’ve read about this dispute and surely will read the other books, too.

Yup – one of my first aviation related books and partially responsible for my interest. Read the German edition (from the 50’s published in Switzerland).
There it says “Red-nosed Mustang piloted by Captain Beeson”
actually, I have a few copies (in German) to give away. If interested, PM, please.

Ronnie – good to see you here ! Great photos – so your skills are not only amazing 3D-models, but also awesome photography ! Congrats.

And here’s the EP-1:

Hey Stormbird.
A point of contention
No.10 isn’t actually a P-41. THis had inboard-retracting undercart.
The photo shows the P-35 backward exposed style retracts.
I stand by my AT-12 answer.
🙂Cheers

I’ll second that !

Although I like the Jug – how about similar shots of RAF Mustang IV’s in Burma and 78th FG P-51’s at Duxford – or any other P-51 ?
Thanks for sharing these P-47 photos – highly apreciated!

I would totally opt for the Hollywood sign instead…
That’s gone already – in “The day after tomorrow”

since we have here Mosquito NF. Mk. XXX’s and XIX’s, (Leavesden production) – I suspect the radar (AI VIII, AI X, or SCR720 and 729) equipment was secret and therefore to be kept under constant guard.
Martin
“G” stands for “Guard” – i.e. the aircraft had special equipment that required special attention / guarding.

Thanks, Fantasma 337 – very interesting ! Looking forward to seeing new updates.
One thought: “Very good condition” – I doubt that – although the Mediterran Sea has a slightly lower salt content than for example the Atlantic, the average water temperature in the Aegean Sea is rather high which IMHO will surely has affected the aircraft…..
Let’s see
