you can always buy some in my airline 😉
to be honest mate, the whole business stinks. Its an excuse to destroy her, and a **** poor one at that
no i realise, insurance is in hand 😉
The main problem is the current future of baginton airport 🙁 we cant do anything like that until we know that the airport isnt going to be turned into a large council estate ;(

Just a second, let me get a tissue. Okay, all better.
“It seems that there are always people with an agenda around who are very quick to “poo poo” anything which might make their particular wet dream not look quite so good”
I’m sure the irony in that statement has escaped you. 😉
Im curious. do you have some wierd personality disorder that makes you reply to everything with some smart alec comment, or are you just a typical twunt?
ah mate those are ACE!
thankyou 🙂
you never know 🙂
The last I had heard is that Classic Flight have sourced an avon for WK163 but WJ874 wont be flying again due to corrosion?
dont stealth bombers add something to the exhaust to eliminate contrails too?
first flight of the sabre 1947
im pretty sure the vulcan has live bang seats too, part of the reason no one is allowed in the cockpit?
both are excellent points, and spitfiremans picture is nothing short of genius 😀
I hope you will be proved wrong too (with the greatest respect 🙂 )
I intend to spend as much time as it takes to get WR963 Back into the air again, restored to her former glory!
That said I think refitting the randome wouldnt be a bad idea if we wanted to petition her as a cold war relic?
The last time I saw a Shack fly, it was taking off over my head whilst I was jogging down the beach at Lossie in 86.
Sadly, I think the odds of either happening again are about the same.
Changing tack somewhat, I was involved with the late Wallace Cubitt in the 90’s whilst he had the Hunter T7 XL595 at Coltishall, in which he later died. I’m sure I recall he had some kind of connection with the Paphos aircraft, and he was multi piston rated. Was there ever a plan to bring one back ?
I believe both are entirely Feasible :diablo:
I met professional people in the aviation business who were ADAMANT that the Vulcan would never fly….
Im pretty sure there may have been some plan like that at one point but dont quote me on it. I had heard that some mad ****** would have bought one of them back to the uk after it had been stood for 7/8 years with just a couple of engine runs… Braver than I 😮
