Its a good job that we have got clearance to use Crown material, it only took around 5 phone calls and 3 letters to those we needed to contact.

That would explain it then! Its such a shame when people, and indeed the RAF during the decommissioning process, or just by pure vandalism decide to chop through wiring.

I agree Mr Suckling, we have a mountain of rewiring to do on our Bucc, XX889, indeed to the state that we would really need to employ a full time sparky/lecky/fairy!!!! Aaaarrrghh!!!

To be fair, there was some excellent footage of the fire, that poor Fireman with the hand held extinguisher, he was either brave or nuts, cannot decide which.
As for using water on a fuel fire, where the fire-fighters not trained properly? must admit, did not manage to see the last 20 mins, my other half hogged the remote and started to watch a film that she had seen 6 times in the last month (not unlike most programs on Sky or Cable)!!!!!!!
