The day before Kemble Air Day she will be flying down the Mall, why not continue along the M4 corridor and then north over Kemble Airfield before flying home, give us volunteers something to stop working for 😀 🙂 😎 Not that Glen is a slave driver 😀 😀
Its a good job that we have got clearance to use Crown material, it only took around 5 phone calls and 3 letters to those we needed to contact.
G-BMSG by Rolf Carlsson.
Does anyone have a recent photo of G-BMSG (yes I know I have asked this question before), we hear quite a bit about XS458, but never anything about Cranfields other Classic Jet Gem.
The aircraft failed to attract a single bid on ebay, I fear the scrapman will now cometh with the nose section being sold on.
Phoenix Aviation DID have an Olympus 22R engine for some time, but I have not seen it for a while and has possibly move onto pastures new.
That would explain it then! Its such a shame when people, and indeed the RAF during the decommissioning process, or just by pure vandalism decide to chop through wiring.

I agree Mr Suckling, we have a mountain of rewiring to do on our Bucc, XX889, indeed to the state that we would really need to employ a full time sparky/lecky/fairy!!!! Aaaarrrghh!!!
Is this the company connected to Colin Allen?
He owned some JPs at Tatenhill, but had sold them all in the late 90s.
Since them he’s slipped off the radar.
I could not tell you Mark, but somethings bound to turn up about DB UK before long, you know my contacts.
Tangmere, just to let you know, the Woking Bucc, XX895 was removed by Barry Parkhouse and G & D Aviation, and was believed to have been sectioned before being transported, thanks for your help.
Guys, I think we are missing the point of the thread, we are not looking for anyone to move the Bucc, that has been sorted, what I am trying find out is what happened Downbird UK as a matter of interest.
Tangmere, I know both Nev and Barry very well, myself and Dave Thomas have been undertaking Nev’s Bucc moves over the last few years, unfortunately Nev is recovering from an operation and is likely to be sidelined for the foreseeable future, Barry does not have a rig big enough to transport the Bucc.
A suitable transport company has been found, just wanted to know more on DB UK.
Regarding Kemble – the protesters are voters – the councillors need votes. The owners of the airfield are probably not local residents, therefore carry no voting power.
Oh but they are local people!! So do carry voting power.
Vautor..
Now thats interesting, is that Civi one still flying in France???
To be fair, there was some excellent footage of the fire, that poor Fireman with the hand held extinguisher, he was either brave or nuts, cannot decide which.
As for using water on a fuel fire, where the fire-fighters not trained properly? must admit, did not manage to see the last 20 mins, my other half hogged the remote and started to watch a film that she had seen 6 times in the last month (not unlike most programs on Sky or Cable)!!!!!!!
Buccaneer!!
I think he’s gone u/s Milt, I check back tomorrow, make sure that you put a tarp over his spine to keep his starter warm, see you soon.
Sarky!! Never 😀
Jav, Bucc & Can bit hunting at the mo, Bucc & Can quite easy, Jav…..oh dear!!
It was good to finally meet Charles the other week, thanks for that, just proves what some us have to do to keep the wolf from the door.
