Thankfully, the RMAF Fulcrum pilot was found alive and well this morning, 10km from the crash site. Suffered only bruises and superficial wounds, I believe.

It’s been a bad week for attrition: the last three days has seen a Royal Jordanian AF F-5E crash (pilot killed), an Indian AF Mirage 2000H crash (pilot killed) and a US Navy F/A-18C go down near Nellis AFB (pilot ejected).

    Best regards

    Steve Rush ~ Touchdown-News

The Indian pilot ejected safely, according to local news reports.

It is just a superpower window dressing. No tactical use if the counter force has enough subs to counter it. And even nuclear subs have no important scenario. So the Akula will go near Karachi and fire nuclear missiles or cruise missiles? Will the answer be different or slower if the missiles are launched near Waqahborder dorected to Islamabad?.

Munir, why do you think we are Pakistan-fixated? I don’t think all the current Indian expansion is directed toward Pakistan at all.. I mean, the Akula in the littorals of the Arabian sea will be a liability. It would make more sense to use the Kilos and the HDW209s there. The Akula(s), whenever they come, will be a blue-water force.

I think you should stop posting on this forum. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Do you know how funny that sounds, coming from you of all people?

Anyway, are they going to do a 1-for-1 replacement for this aircraft, ort just going ahead with the attrition batch of 10?

Step aside NASA!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if India’s ISO
will prove the only agency to come out the undaunted and untarnished winner
here because of its positive and forward-looking outlooks.

    That’s ISRO dude, not ISO!
