would be very interested…I (have the perspex and original armoured casting), just need the bit that joins the perspex to the top of the fuz…..any idea on time frame? Need to sort by mid may to stand any chance of attending cockpitfest with it!!!
I lived near Witney and found a dozen Horsa wheels in the 80s…..also had undercarriage legs….the guy bought 3 gliders at the end of the war. We/I donated the whole lot (except one wheel) to the Museum of Army Flying…..never got any thanx but that was years ago! The wheel looks same to me
