Wow, some great replys!! And some essential listening recommendations for me thanx!
Music is amazing and my IPOD is full of stuff suitable for any mood or emotion.

ZRX61, I know where you are coming from. Wonderwall has a similar meaning.

During my annus horriblis (2003), a song that helped me out was Chris Rea’s ‘Going Fishing’…. it has a lyric in it which still gives me a smile and lifts me:

‘you can waste a whole lifetime trying to be, what you think is expected of you, but you’ll never be free….might as well go fishing’…… the song is not really about fishing at all, but being happy.

    Cheers Al.
TO old fruit, I would only get an official tin….does NAM not have one for RAFBF or similar?

I have never seen a cockpitfest attendee (other than the raptors) with a tin for themselves….not the done thing. Charity is different

Thanx Baldrik, I suppose the old archived log cards could have been kept by the service bay.
Any display at CockpitFest will be tactful (I would welcome ideas by PM) – I think a collecting tin for a suitable charity would be nice.

At CockpitFest I am often asked if I have a collecting tin for the project but refer people to the NAM.

Hi Paul and Mark….cannot believe I missed both responses (cold and old but not bold!!).

Paul, copies would be brilliant please?

In lieu of a drawing, all I really need is the angle of bend and how long along the shaft (ooh err missus)

    cheers

    Tony
