Very nice Robert….I can help you with dimensions off my original. Downland make the basic front castings.

Well the picture that I’m seeing on the screen of P7 (with the gas detection diamond) it is in satin finish and as the man responsible for the paint scheme and for ordering the paint in the first place I can confirm it is indeed a satin finish that is actually referred to by the manufacturers ANAC/Akzo-Nobel as “Aerodex Semi Gloss”. It has an eggshell sheen to it that makes it easier to clean and maintain than a full matt finish, but if the aircraft is repeatedly polished it will like any other satin finish, assume a more gloss appearance in time. TA805 and the old scheme (just replaced) on ML407 are good examples of this as both started life as a satin paint job. My understanding is that the current regime at BBMF favours this more satin finish and is not into constant polishing…

I know I am being cheeky Roobarb old chap, but I would be really grateful if you could let me have the paint codes for the camo paint on P7 please?

Steve, more info on where and preferred type may help.

The H&S situation is not that bad.

    Agree with Planemike!
If you want aviation function organisers (be they old, or new – the functions that is, not the organisers!) to take any notice whatsoever of Fora posters then at least use the English language correctly. Ignorance of the English language leads the organisers to realise the poster is also ignorant – and, therefore, to be ignored!

Wow that is a tad pompous old chap….all views, even some of those that, at first, may be deluded may be worth listening to!

Sorry to be a bit of a killjoy, but these types of threads can be annoying…..the members of a ‘select club’ feel the need to tease those have not got a clue what is going on…a sort of ‘I know something you don’t’.

Spitfire BL370 comes to mind, wasn’t there a dispute about the ownership.

    Cheers

good point, Laviticus, a horrible thought. The crime was terrible….beyond belief and inexcusable. At 10, you know what is right and what is wrong. Jamie and his family are the victims…..a sentence his poor mum, dad etc have to live with every day. The duo got lenient sentences and at least one appears to not have grasped how lucky he is to have a second chance…..something the victims never had.

Merly does not think he is a small dog lol! He is quite big and has a deep bark and growl!

Breed rules/standards are not always good for the dog type.

The Scottie breed standard for Merlin is so him!!
