Which of them is a ‘a multi million pound establishment (with full workshop facilities)’ Stu old chap? Certainly not BDAC…..because it is seperate from those facilities and does not have access to them.

It’s just a week away now….all over the country (and indeed also the Netherlands!) people are frantically spraying this, tidying that, fitting it too!
There rare some crackers attending….my old Swift has been given the treatment she deserved when she passed to the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection and looks fantastic (They even got the canopy motor working!!), Lightning, some great aircraft panels and interiors. There are numerous others attending. We have 12 Hunter cockpits which should be lined up in Mk order so you can see the differences.
It is a lovely weekend with great people to talk to, aircraft to look at and hopefully some great flypasts.
So, if you have never been; try it its fun; if you have been; welcome back it will be good to chat! Modellers can also enjoy it because you can actually see what the cockpit should look like in 3d technicolour…….the aeroboot will also be fun and often helps you find that elusive part.

it is a perfectly executed 1g manoeuvre, that is all there is to it…..

IWM Reserve Collection = Duxford?

True indeed!! From small (Essex Aviation Group) acorns!!

Majority of RAFM is at cosford and Stafford….used to really enjoy visiting it when it was at Cardington! FAAM gave their reserve collection collated with main museum but in a seperated building…best thing to do Matt on all these research projects/questions is to google it all…..like….’RAF Museum Reserve’ it would save you time!:)
