Gerhard Schopfel shot down 4 hurricanes in 1 min. They were in formation and did not know he was there. So it depends on situation. If you had to visually acquire, pursue and shoot down each that would be very challenging
True real life hero. Blue skies Winkle…..the flight test world was and still is very small. We stand on the shoulders of giants. your exploits and achievements will never be bettered or equalled. Several generations of flight test professionals have been inspired by you and many many more will be in the future.
