Sorry I did not reply to your message sooner…..it would be nice to buy that one….but was hoping to buy a tyre only if I can.
I am taken aback by your personal message and attack…not sure what I did to deserve it.
In a similar vain – I need some switches for a Constellation yoke!
very nice Ian. You have been busy! I have nothing real to report….other than I got a Connie yoke.
Hi Tony, I am still after the wider spit tail wheel tyre fitted to later ‘Spits’ like the Seafire 17 and Spit F24
middle one is Mustang can I have it!!! The ones on right look austerish
beautiful shots Anna as always. I have not seen the Lancs yet as been in Florida. Next weekend is my chance —-I hope!!!
The best replica flap tap/mounting is £25 and from Downland Aviation. I do replica fuel switches, gauges and a basic UC Indicator (amongst other non radioactive stuff!!)
Very nice! Need to bring that to next year’s gripfest at CockpitFest
It is a beautiful spade grip that would be a prize in anyone’s collection. I have a Master instructor grip which has the same trigger (without the camera mod) but that has a completely differemnt AH number and is mag alloy (as is the student 2040). My guess would be early Martinent/master instructor grip. Very nice
Sound advice there from Mr WF. It is always easier when the seller says what the would like. Just be fair. The yoke is probably around $200-$400 depending on your passion, condition of yoke and if badge/button is real or not. The slides and photos depend on whether they are public domain or unpublished. My experience is that your true passion should be apparent to the seller – so a fair price should suffice (below ‘market value’ – I hate that term in our collecting sphere as the history is the value to me not £, $ shillings or pence).
A fitting place for Jeremy’s beautiful Lanc
A very nice real Spitfire grip and yoke (V piece) there Mr S!!!
The V piece/yoke would suit any Spitfire/Seafire Mk. The spade grip is later type Dunlop covering. Looks like someone will get a bargain!
