    Nice one, cheers!

I really should pay more attention when I fly. I always think “hmm, have I been on this plane before”

Flight number could be a little difficult…I’ve forgot :p

However, it was Sunday 26th October, PUJ – NCL, around 3.30pm take off…if my memory serves me right!

Another thing I noticed was that the gear door closest to the nose wasnt flush with the body when closed – is that common? (you can see in first pic, the plane looks like its smiling)

    edit! trawled my email:

    Leaving: Thomsonfly TOM2591
    Depart: Newcastle19/10/08 09:20
to Arrive: Punta Cana 19/10/08 13:10

    Returning: Thomsonfly TOM2592
    Depart: Punta Cana 26/10/08 15:55
    to Arrive: Newcastle 27/10/08 04:05

How many Thomson aircraft operate from Newcastle? I flew on a 767 (and possibly a 757 on the way back…) when I went to the Dominican Republic last October. On the way back the IFE system kept crashing and the reading lights were on and off like a disco. How old are they?

By the way, what does “gone tech” mean?? In need of repair?

    Awful, RIP.

No way you’d catch me on an MD11, I was going to say the same thing about the previous incidents.

    Cool.

So is this the fate of the entire NWA fleet then?

I just flew on a Northwest flight last week..I suppose it will be a Delta plane next time!

When I make future bookings on KLM website, will it show as a Delta flight or Northwest?

Well, I did a bit of looking around the FAQ..

What if my destination addresses or itineraries changes after I obtain ESTA travel authorization?

Applicants may update their destination addresses or itineraries should they change after their ESTA has been approved, although this will not be required.”

updating the ESTA would be great…but got knows where the number is!!

Will just have to wait and see. What’s the point of an online app AND a green card asking the same questions?

Yeah, I figured that would be the case to be honest. But you hear some real stories!

I was at MSP a few months ago and that was no problem, and I was staying for a month!

I just was hoping to keep things consistent to avoid hassle, I’m sure the confirmation forms, return ticket etc should be enough if they question it though

That’s another point, I thought the whole point of ESTA was to do away with the green card?

The thing is, the exit rows always seem to be taken right away! I suppose as soon as I get that “check in now…” email I will have to get on the case.

I think I can get access to better seating online now since my skyteam level went up to Silver…we shall see I suppose.

Well I managed to actually get an exit row this time! Happened to be online when I got the check in email

Seat 10B on the A330 to Boston 😀
