Jur,
Thanks for the info on the Twin Pin, ‘British civil aircraft registers since 1919’ has no info against this aircraft regarding it leaving or being restored to the UK register, which is a puzzle if it was used abroad. Could it have retained its UK registration? Can we confirm that this actual aircraft went overseas, and the reason it was DBR? Just wondering if it was a demo aircraft painted in the Dutch colours for some reason, and never went outside the UK.
Geoff.
David,
Many thanks for the info. I wonder what happened to the Proctor in Australia, & if it’s still around?

G-AHUZ, current status?
G-AKOW, PWFU 5/8/87, subsequent fate?
G-AELO, ex AW118, still current I believe? I’ve just noticed what appears to be a section of fuselage in the background. Any ideas?
Nice line-up, wonder how many of them still survive (other than ‘DC). Anyone ID the aircraft displaying overhead?
G-AHEB, ex RL923, pic taken Feb ’57, to F-BHVQ Apr ’57. Current status??
EP-9, G-AOFU w/o 3/11/62.
The curse of the missing image strikes again. Try this one.
Black6,
This photo shows PZ865, as G-AMAU, in her royal blue and gold civilian colour scheme. Don’t know if this matches up with what you remember. I certainly can’t recall a Hurri in British Racing Green, but I’m no expert. There are specialist Hurricane websites you could try!
The Spitfire is AB910/G-AISU.
Date – 1950s, location unknown.

The RR Melin from Hurricane P3933 of 607 (County of Durham) sqdn RauxAF, flown by Sgt John Lansdell, who lost his life on the 17th September 1940.
Relics from a Ju88 which crashed at Bethersden, Kent, on the night of 17th/18th January 1943.
It may be worth e-mailing DoRIS at Hendon (Research@rafmuseum.org), if they don’t know, ask them to contact the AHB. The latter should be able to supply some info, although nothing too personal, to point you in the right direction for further research.
