There is nowt wrong with my car – it goes. (touch wood) – can’t afford it to go wrong.
It may not be a super fast machine, it may not be a mega desirable make but it’s mine, it’s paid for, it’s taxed, it’s insured and most of all gets me (and my kids when I have them or anyone else I may be driving around with) from A-B with little fuss.

Why change it. No need to rush about – costs money… What use is a fast car if the traffic is still the same?

The Ag Stearman came into a VAC do years back in the 90’s at Finmere. It is now in Belgium I think but back into stock configuration in the usual blue fuselage & yellow wings scheme.

It’s 5:30 every weekday for me and usually no later than 8 at weekends…. (earlier if I have the monsters for the weekend)

SP – it took me a while until the ideal post came up (14 years to be exact) but it was worth it – The only reason I’m a civil servant is because I wanted to work with or near aircraft and a job came up at RAF Upper Heyford.

Risk of icing was cancelled here at 13:29…
