The KZ IIRC was the only example of the type on the UK register.
I remember the PT Flight displaying at several events but the biggest fornation remember was the PT23, 3xPT22, 3xPT17/Stearman and the BT15…

    Lovely shots there JV.
Do you know if the Tiger will be over to Woburn for the Moth Rally?

I think part of the problem with old helicopters is the availability of spares that are still lifed.
I believe that the airworthy Skeeter population is determined by availability of useable gearboxes.
There appears also to be little airshow demand for the historic rotary types.
I await with interest the appearance of the Vietnam Huey in the UK. Just hope it is a sucessful time for them.

I seem to recall reading in the last few days there is a plan for a big hangar to put the bigger ‘frames in out of the weather. Brooklands is “privately” owned as far as I know.

Not been there for a few years – looks like a return trip is in order. A lovely museum and the cars are just as interesting.
    Cheers Anna

I too will vote – always have. As for who well that’s the hard part they are all as bad as one another and I have altered my vote over the years.

My ex-wife never did and refuses to still as she takes no interest in it.

    Nice chips & curry sauce!

I’ll vouch for that having sampled the same on Saturday.

Yep – nice place, generally where people retire to……… 😀 Bit of a rare beast as well: one of the few (the only?) East coast resorts where you can watch the sun setting over the sea (The Wash). Welcome to a decent part of the world!

    Even had a model shop…!

I’ll have to take a troll over on a nice day. I’m liking it over here (apart from being utterly skint on taking this job and all my mates being back over there). I love the fact there are so many old airfields here – places I’d only read about before…
