I seem to remember that the home page had all online members at the bottom, but each forum had on-line members browsing that forum at the top of the topic list.

Yes I thought that too and I too found it of use to see who was “in” or “out”.
The Vampire and Meteor crashed after a midair at Mildenhall in about ’86 – I was there sadly to witness it. Their last meteor crashed at Coventry a year or two later (not sure on the year)

I’m with you Robbo. Amazing how you miss somethings.
WebMaster. A big thumbs up here. Really like the new look. Thanks
This bloke is determined.
The airfield is watched and movements logged all the time now. By accounts some of those logging are apparently enthusiasts. I wonder if they know what they are part of.
The Grand Prix Flying will go ahead as it was challenged before but a judicial review ruled that the council were wrong and that the event should happen as long as the GP is at Silverstone and cannot therefore be touched.
This is now hitting our friends who work here. Do help support the airfield. write to AVDC and at least support the airfield and especially the fly-ins.
Thanks

Lovely…
Many thanks for the pictures…
Had a nice surprise on Saturday… Aces High was on and of course the Viima was in there.
Thanks again

There’s a task and a half. Looked fairly complete from the outside… 😮 I wish you all the best in getting her back together and restored.

Go to Abingdon Fayre next week I think there maybe one or two due in and you could get your own recording…
I noticed elsewhere you wanted a Bell47… Try Helidays at Weston-Super-Mare usually get one or two in there.

I recall comment being made in a magazine about the concern of lack of types to use for conversion especially in the multi-engine category. Wouldn’t the sight of an Oxford flying be nice…?
I understand the single engine route promoted by ARCo is similar in some respects to what would be the military route.

Obviously not. I stand corrected. Thank you. All being well will see one at Abingdon next Sunday.
Fantastic.
The harvard team must have been a fantastic sound…
You hardly see the Harvard as a display item these days. I remember them being quite a popular type in the 80’s
You’d have loved the Diamond Nine team we had over hear a few years ago. Fantastic displays by the 9 Tiger Moths.
Thanks for sharing the pictures once again

Me too… My excuse is I wasn’t even thought of and doubt I could add any more. I do like these old photos though…
Glad you liked the picture…
the Formation sounds fantastic… Hope you can get some shots…

I don’t think it was owned by the “AA”. Just a regular “pilot”
Ready for the roaring laughter…
My sister came across this the other day and scanned it in.
My first cadet flight ever 5 AEF – Can’t remember the date as 3822 is in other bag…
Have a laugh whilst I cringe…
Cheers for that guys.
Thanks for the clarification Melvyn. How long until we see your lovely machine gracing the skies?
I wondered what the other was too Kenneth… Parnell type? Assuming it is a UK built machine.
