    If they believe that this will stop the insurgent attacks they are grossly mistaken I fear. The reprisals will now come… Just a matter of time.

    This man was a terrorist. What are the odds that sections of Iraq (or other countries) don’t see the American forces or our forces as the terrorists?

    It is indeed a Wessex. In fact the tin snail pictured is also a rare thing by all accounts.

    Not sure what my favourite historic type is.
    I do like the Wessex especially having flown in one as a Spacey on camp. But I also like Whirlwinds – I had the opportunity to climb all over a few when I was younger. In fact one of the youngest aircraft related pictures I have of myself is sat in a Whirlwind I believe…

    I’m not a fan of those on the cars, (You should see the number that end up as roadside rubbish), but I do like to see the cross of St George displayed. As has been said it is nice to see such support for the team even though I’m not a fan of football.

    PL – St Georges day is hardly celebrated over here. There have been cases where pubs have been denied extended hours for St Georges day but allow to open for longer on St Patricks day.
