It’s actually very good, it’s a new uptake on the legend and that “forrest living” bit doesn’t come into it at all. The Sherriff Of Nottingham is barely in the story and instead of robbing from the rich blah blah, it ties into the beginings of Magna Carta. Well worth a wet afternoon…..

State Of Play (Hollywood version…)

Its not bad, and as a film in its own right its worth a look, however if you were a fan of the (IMHO) excellent BBC series from 7 or 8 years ago you may feel a bit let down, the ending is a bit simplified in comparison, but Ben Effleck can act and shows it here, Russel Crowe looks a bit “large”, but Helen Mirren doesn’t get much of a role beyond the cliche of a “hard nosed” newspaper editor.

Booked (hopefully) an apartment with sea view at Woolacombe in August for me and the kids. Am awaiting confirmation on Monday (I hope) lovely part of the world, can’t wait.

I take the day off work, clean the house (floors included) all kids washing ironing done, put away, house spick and span and I take the kids to the airport as a suprise for them and her to pick her up (away 5 days through work) paying T-5 short term parking rates as well !
