Blimey mate, you’re having a real Annus Horribilis, aren’t you? Things will get better in time though, believe me.

I’ve had better thanks, but compared with James, I’m just fine, I have my health, job and children. His last facebook update said “live life to the full and take no cr*p”, we were not especially close, talked football and went to a game a few times, had a beer now and then. 26 years old and just “gone”.

There is nothing so sad as a young life lost I think.

    here you go…

These folk appear to have nailed it….almost ?
There are a few companies who make faux film t-shirts now (last exit to nowhere for example) Shawshank Prison, Amity Police, Quints Shark Fishing, OCP, Peoples Front Of Judea to name a few, this one seems to be along the same lines….

I just learned of the death in a car accident of a friend from work, he ran the gym. He was a health and excercise nutter, not yet 30, avid Spurs fan, killed in a car accident yesterday morning. We are all just stunned.

    BT tech support

BT tech is the worst telephone technical support line I have ever used. I use them for my broadband line as I’m in a poor area and it works (just) but usual BT, when you talk sales and new services its UK, as soon as you sign up – off you go to India.

Dreadful understanding of the English language, unbelievable names given, unwillingness to listen to what you say, 100% script solution. One guy argued with me telling me to unscrew a telephone socket from the wall as a “master socket” was behind it. Its not there, yes it is sir, no, its not…. and asking me to hump the PC downstairs to connect to the socket to test it, why don’t I just take the router, its smaller and lighter and if the happy lights are on, its OK? No sir, you need the PC, no I don’t etc etc….

I picked up a 1/72 die-cast model of a “Thud” a while back, it just shouts “noise and power” Its a crying shame that the Duxford example never got to be restored and displayed, its a wonderful looking beast.

Sorry Pagen, the current Mrs-BSG has the digital camera today and I left my phone in the car, the museum doesn’t allow photography in areas other than the two aircraft halls. If you are ever in the area though, take a look.
