I ammended the name, memory loss at 44….:o
It is a really nice little place (and I mean little only in size, in no way patronising), we were there for about four hours, I hope that the move is a success for them, its just a crying shame that they couldn’t make use of the tower as part of the museum.
I got asked out
Ok, no biggie but given my current domestic shambles, a small ego boost that made me smile.
Its not something I’ll take up right now, but it was nice none the less.

As Baz said to his visitor the other day, the Poles made a valuable contribution to the war effort and should not be ignored and have every right to be displayed alongside the rest of the allies.
I’ll get my coat…..
Saw the Spitfire on the back of a lorry at the end of the A21 near the M25 junction at about 2 pm this afternoon.
Do not know where it is off too.
Off to Baz’s garden to be repainted in say, post war Italian air force colours ?:diablo::D:eek:
5 a side football gave me mine (bursa thingy) like a mug I kept playing, it swelled and popped, got infected and popped again at work, much to the chagrin of my colleague as the sac (well, half of it) popped out and landed on her desk. nasty business….
Had to have an op to clear it all out, 6 weeks off work (I told my GP I had to drive a fork lift :diablo:)
Too much info !? Rest it as much as you can, hope it works itself out.

HIP inspection
estate agents now “energy performance specialists” poking around the house, soon to be followed by total strangers,I hate seeing them in the kids rooms, this is all gathering momentum of its own now and I know how Indiana Jones felt being chased out of that temple by the big rock…..

The RAF had a P-47 OTU in Egypt, the closest the P-47 ever got to service in Europe with the RAF. Lend lease equipment had to be returned or paid for at the end of the war, much was destroyed but given the Indian B-24’s that were put back into use its not impossible that a few were made serviceable, however briefly.
Spurs in the Champions League…

HIP – home information pack
what a scam…….. £250 to fill in forms that were on the old legal forms anyway, plus an “energy inspector” or some such….
its worse than the old ISO inspections in terms of creating paperwork & revenue etc.
