Certainly bear her no ill, but really don’t care whether she has a sprog or not.

Like with so many other things, I get sick of the way the Meeja go way over the top with this kind of thing. Nicholas Bloody Witchell in particular makes my skin crawl with that fawning, deferential whine of his.

I probably care about it as much as the royals did when my two nippers were on the way. My anti Royal side would like to know how many “ordinary” mums get the benefit of hospital stays with sickness, and how many carry on regardless.

No ill will from me to them, I just don’t care and its not headline news worthy at all.

So, I have the “Notes” of the meeting, which generally were OK, some detail incorrect and oh, yes, missing totally the point where I said “If offence was caused then I am sorry for that but it was work place banter” and also where I said “at no point ever, did the two HR professionals say “We need a word, as your HR contact I should say that this is not appropriate”.

I send them back, ask for a timescale to resolve, nothing for 24 hrs so far…..

it is a handsome beast isn’t it ?:cool:
I remember years ago at Abingdon at a show (1988/89 ?) that they had a Jaguar that was in for servicing up on jacks with as many panels removed as they could so you see the systems and Hydraulics working as they retracted the landing gear and actuated the flaps etc. A nice piece of innovation for an air show I think.

So, no specific detail given to me on what was “inappropriate” or what caused offence. Not allowed to know who made the “claims”, and the 18 or so staff who joined in the “banter” are not going to be interviewed.

My oppo is on his knees, and just exhausted, I’m asking the questions that the ACAS sites and others suggest, but no answers. I was asked to talk through the events of the day, I asked why and I am not allowed to know.

No clue on when I will see any outcome.

so, I am back on the swearing bit now…..

This appeared in my diary at work this morning. I have asked them to clarify as surely it should say “alleged” and under which policy the investigation is ongoing and what the possible outcomes.
