A/ I’m booked in for a CT scan this afternoon, not eating for past 24 hrs (so far) is not a nice feeling.

B/ I started the two doses of ‘Phosphoral’ six hours late yesterday and had to take the second dose at midnight and have had to stay up to be ‘ready’…….. it really gives me the Sh-ts!

C/ The Phosphoral cost 388 kroner (£43)!! (Bloody norwegian prices!)

I’ve booked a roast dinner with the wife tonight:)

In the Uk it’s called “Pickalax”,not sure how it should be spelt but the effect is the same. I’ve done it 6 or 7 times, and its the best way to make sure you never cough that I ever knew !:rolleyes::diablo:

I’m “one for one” on film recomendations with you am I not ? Blade Runner 🙁 StarTrek 😀 so I’ll be cautious…

Its a typical American style military movie with lots of “bulldish” in the dialoge but some gems as well (“you do that again and I’ll have you keel hauled. And thats serious on an aircraft carrier”)

You’ll pick it up for a pound or two and with the A-6’s and the A-1’s during the climax, I’d say its worth a look for that.

Thats impressive Baz – the A-6 another airframe that we don’t have in the UK, more is the pity….. its actually quite watchable movie, a bit jingositic and the Hanoi target changed from the book (party HQ to the SAM storage) to liven it up, but the action scenes are very well done.

None of this offers ANY justification for the murder of British soldiers or civilians.

Would you agree with me that anyone who actively participated in, supported or otherwise encouraged or condoned the attacks on British civilians should have NEVER been pardoned for their crimes and have never been allowed to achieve High Office? Of course you won’t, because you are an advocate of indiscriminate murder to achieve your own ends.

Kev35 – sometimes I look at posts on here, yours, mine, others and wonder what is going on and what argument people are trying to articulate and why.
Then I read a post like this, erudite, researched, meticulous and with simple clear delivery, hard hitting and all I can post in response, is “hear hear” in support.

Revenge/Justice

The less faith people have in justice, the more they talk about revenge.

Scolding hot water on the bloke, is not justice, its violent revenge (and whoever did it, given their location may not be a piller of the community either)

If you openly condone such attacks you have to ask yourself surely if you would be willing to do it yourself.
