Are these the actions of a “civilized” society? No, not really.

The death penalty isn’t coming back. End of. Despite a Daily Express opinion poll carried out just after the 2011 riots.

Ask yourself this, do want the return of the death penalty as revenge or as a deterrent?

Its a valid argument, there is a scary relationship between the perception of justice and revenge. I would advocate the death penalty for crimes like this, but accept that I will never happen in the UK.

So, what punishment does indeed fit this crime? Life with hard labour, solitary confinement, or let him go and give every police officer in a 100 mile radius the night off and announce the release on the radio….. Could any of us seriously lynch the man? Just an open question……

Thank you Tin Triangle, that is most helpful, and that is also a lovely build, the silver finish is very well done indeed.

    Skyfall….

not a bad way to spend 2 hrs on a cold Saturday afternoon. It’s a bit disjointed with a mix between the “new style” Bond (high tech HQ etc….) and the older movies and it does seem to stear it to the next one (Craig has signed up for three more?) towards the older style. No spoilers, but M ends up in a leather panelled office with a fire place much like the late, great, Bernard Lee’s in the Connery films.

Bad guy with bad hair captures Bond and tells him some of his plans…. so some of the old films still lives on !

CGI Navy Lynx ‘Choppers and the Merlin gets thrown in….

A lovely post and tribute to you father, I lost both of my parents in the past few years, my mum only last April, and I took my son up for his first ever flight in that same Dragon Rapide a few years ago, and that was remarkable for us, I hope he will remember it as you and your father did.

Unless we are happy to see 3 Corsairs and a Hellcat chasing the same two white Harvards fitted with smoke generators over California….. I think yes, CGI mixed in with static airframes etc.

Either way, endless debate will ensue !! 🙂

    Remember “Black Sheep Squadron”…….

If its a TV with a built in freeview Scott, try a different feed in (DVD, blu ray etc) if the picture quality is the same its probably the TV thats faffed or needs adjusting, check next door, if they have the same, its the signal.
