have experienced it from both sides, my own marriage went belly up for countless reasons (but not adultery) and part of me still would like to know why, if only to make me a better person and to learn from the mistakes, that said there is no way that the ex and me would ever have that talk.

I would say move on, if she were to tell you, it could have a very negative effect and be hurtful. If it was a crude “he was better than you at…..” it won’t help you. She probably had a reason, after all, generally women need a reason to have sex, men generally just need a place.

But if you know why, it may not help so move on, especially after this amount of time. If you dwell on it, a new partner will pick up on it, or you could transfer fear and mistrust to that new partner. I have found at the age of 45 starting out again, we all have enough baggage, no need to bring along any more.

    That looks jaw droppingly beautiful!

Wonderful work by all involved, you’ve created something of a masterpiece and, as David says, a fitting tribute to those who flew them 70-odd years ago.

    Bravo, sirs.

I was trying to find the right phrase, but “jaw droppingly beautiful” will do just fine !

Great piece of work there, can’t wait to see her, please put her (and any non flyers) in a static at legends if at all possible.

    The Shawshank Redemption

I watched that last night as well, awsome film. My girlfriend had never seen it and she was in floods of tears at the end.

One of the best films ever made IMHO.

e-mail from Cruella telling me that I “have” to deliver our son’s bike to her place or go halves on the cost of a new one so he has two bikes.

hang on poppet, you left, I bought him a bike for his birthday, drop him here and he can ride it where he wants to go, but tell me again why I am being told to subsidise your lifestyle choice ?

Choosing my words very carefully here, if forum members such as myself are still unhappy at the circumstances that lead to Lance leaving, we can “Vote with our feet”, or vote with our posts.
Whatever the forum equivalent is to folding your arms and turning your back and not debating with fellow members with whom we may have an issue.
In short, don’t reply to posts or threads that they may participate in, I certainly won’t be.

In my time as a member we have had a few “ups and downs”, and we’ve seen a few hissy fits, some genuine bile and lo and behold, lots of debate, discussion and disagreements.

The loss of Lance is a shocker to me, I saw the thread in question only recently, and while I understand his decision based on the attacks on him, its a sad one for the forum and for the rest of us.

Kev35 as per usual, has nailed the points totally, especially with regard to PeeDee, I know who I would rather have here to debate with.
