The British Army intimidated many Irish people throughout the conflict and seemingly, according to eyewitnesses, took great pleasure in doing so!

That would appear to be a sweeping view of a hugely complex issue, with feelings running and bred into generation after generation. The Army should. in an ideal world never be called into a police situation. To quote a line from a TV series a while ago:

“There’s a reason you separate the military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people.”

For every claim of a soldier taking pleasure in intimidation, there is a republican act of violence and cruelty. The truth will never come out, there are probably two many truths to count.

The current Mrs BSG-75 taking 3 days to sign the mortgage papers…. 3 days of “I need to think/check/ask”.

Still, all signed and posted now, one step closer, just need her chain to get in place now…..

It’s a shame, I would have loved to have seen her restored, but I guess restored in Poland is better than in a queue at Duxford.

Good news BSG, thought they were trying to pull a fast one on you…

Thanks mate – In truth it seems a genuine error, but the old stressometer went off the scale last might, had a few beers and I’m on the locozade and nurofen diet now 😮

It is typical of HR here, huge project, much of it outsourced and a single crass error like that happens….

I need to ask Lance what the rudest word is that I can post? :diablo:

Remember Adrian Edmunson on Wogan? Ron says….?!:diablo:

😡 indeed. All the best for tomorrow’s shenanigans.

Written apology for the “anxiety” caused, it was in error (we do have two possible structures to implement which I know about officially), they are investigating blah blah…

    Twunts.
