Really fantastic.
As I was watching the beginning of this I thought “I wonder if Avspecs is getting sick of doing Mosquitos?”
Then I thought “No, they’re probably just tired, of them all going to the U.S”. 😀

HA!!
That’s a pretty funny retirement card.
Andy Saulter is a very skilled engineer.
I always thought that if anyone could get one of Kermits’ Sabres’ running, it would be Andy.
Sad to hear that he won’t be involved any longer.
The reality of the human lifetime, dictates that there is no way for Kermit to see all of his projects to fruition.

Thanks for the reply Errol

Nice one Geoff.
I’m losing track. Where is this one headed.
Can you just imagine what Geoffrey de Havilland would think?
Well done Avspecs!
I agree James D.
Co-operation will benefit everyone (including us punters that just want to hear one of these things run).
The Canadian project has a partial engine from a wreck and have said that new construction of major components would not be ruled out.
Very exciting times.
Another amazing milestone, in the progression of this monumental project.
So many aspects of this mountain being climbed, one at a time.
Not long ago, this would have simply been considered, not possible.
My sincere best wishes to the team.
Andy
Man alive!
These guys do NOT mess around.
So impressive to see the handiwork of these craftsmen.
“Chuffed” he said, last week.
Well, I’m not sure that would do it justice this week!
Great job and great post. Thanks Blue.
Hoped you enjoyed those well deserved pints.
Andy
Do any foxes, or major components survive anywhere?
Nice looking biplane.
And chuffed you should be!
What did you use to cut the holes in the panel?
It looks great.
Andy
WOW!
Looking forward to an I.D.
That’s exciting!
This aeroplane is a marvelous undertaking.
Another amazing find.
Thanks for posting the pics here Geoff.
Interesting to see the 109 sported Dunlop tires. What’s up with that?

“Somebody lend them a bucket and spade and they can recover the P38 at the same time.”
Now that is just ridiculous.
Anyone who has been paying attention knows that TIGHAR has never, and will never recover anything of substance. :dev2:
