That’s really quite lucky.
If the wheel had departed on touchdown, the aircraft would have certainly left the runway, leading to who knows what.
They got off light with that one fortunately.

All we can hope, is that their record remains intact! :highly_amused:
Gillespie’s entire M.O. is based on the fact, that there is a sucker born every minute.

I saw her at Oshkosh in 1994 in company with TE308.
I saw her again at Cavanaugh in 2010. She was sitting on flat tires looking awfully sorry for herself.
An employee said that she had not flown since “the nineties” 🙁
Andy
Two section scramble!!!!!

Andy
I’d love to know what that CR-42 is like to fly.
It looks like it would be fun!
Hopefully we’ll get some feedback from the folks lucky enough to fly her.
Andy
That’s a very simple and effective spray holder.
Well done Ali.
I will feel free to steal that idea 🙂

Great diary entry.
I love hearing about little bits of unobtainium showing up, seemingly out of nowhere, just in time to help such an interesting project.
Well done folks.

The patients prognosis looks excellent!
Is that donor shaft from the poor pasta strainer on the Welsh hillside? If so, it looks amazing.
Andy
Thanks for posting Jason.
Your videos are always top notch!
All they are missing is the “Highway to the danger zone” soundtrack to drown out the sounds of the aircraft ;))

Would Airframe Assemblies have the abilities to build the required airframe components for a Mk. 24?
Just speaking hypothetically, of course.
I guess, if you could come up with the drawings, or a pattern, why not?
