    Look after yourself friend.
Lots of folks have been quite sick this year.
I’m glad we’ve almost got January under our belts.

I thought that as soon as I saw it.
There were some severely crashed bits of Barracuda that they were able to “uncrash”.

That’s a marvelous contribution. So great to see.
The scale of this project never ceases to amaze Elliott.
Out of curiosity, what are the biggest, or most significant, items on your “wanted” list?

Thanks for the link to that story. I certainly agree with that chap at the end. They deserve five or six beers after completing that job to that standard! Well done all.

    Thom always does great videos.
I saw this same thing happen to Bob Baranaskis while displaying at Geneseo NY (in the P-40 in which, he was later, tragically lost).
I was working on the oil crew (delivering, not servicing). It looks like all to easy of a “gotcha!”
The mess was not quite as bad, as his routine was not aerobatic. I helped him with the clean up.
Given the location of the cap it would likely be the last thing to check before strapping in.

Eating his elephant (or rather Meteor) one spoonful at a time.
As far as Eloise helping you out, good on her!
I love to hear about women getting involved with the technical side of aviation.
As my good friend said to me, “airports need more girls!”

Also good to see we are sticking to the new schedule of two updates per….:applause::applause::D

Spitfire “demoted” to camera ship. :highly_amused:

Well done to the entire Avspecs team and congratulations to Mr Lewis.
    She looks absolutely fantastic!

I love the way the Merlins bark coming over the hedge to land.

Nothing like ending on a high note! Well done.
The inside of the rear fuselage looks to be in quite good condition,(notice I didn’t say comfortable;))
Did you folks refinish that or is it original?
Also, nice to see the autographs on the lay shaft. You are most definitely worthy of a place in this ol’ girls history.
    Bring on 2019!
