MTOW of F-22 27 tonnes ? No that’s probably a rough NTOW figure (i thought with full fuel and internal AAM load NTOW is closer to 30 tonnes btw )
Poor pretty aeroplane …:( (scroll down)

PS : I assume just before or after one of those flameouts …

I’ll try a guess too ( i know nothing about jet engine innards btw).
We know it’s the FADEC, so MAYBE somehow for few miliseconds the pilot light ( igniter thing …you know what i meen ) went out (i think it’s one of those pasma ones right ? ) but the fuel kept coming in as normal , and when the igniter kicked back in , too much fuel , hence the detonation , and hence the “flash” in front of the intake ( shock wave went thru the engine ? i hope it’s not wrecked )
Anyway probably this is just senseless garble.
Another angle …

PS: is this russian DIRCM ?
If everything goes well, we should see T-50-2 performing in about half hour …

Strange…T-50, Su-34 and Su-35 in formation , T-50 stars to perform for about 2 mins, then Su-35 steps in … Demo cut short ? (they’re all landed and parked together now )
If everything goes well, we should see T-50-2 performing in about half hour …

Um…please can anyone have a suggestion on how to download this clip on my comp, i don’t seem to be able to …thanks.
Moreover, this year you’ll see real surprise from Sukhoi.
Well since it’s being Secretno, imho it can either be something having to do with T-50, OR maybe it’s that UCAV. If i’m not mistaken , i remember seeing a bit of news somewhere about basically the MiG Skat being cancelled , instead Sukhoi will design a new russian UCAV (with Mikoyan as consultant, or something like that ).
Can anyone remember that bit of news?
PS: At least “something” related to this UCAV :

Thanks Flateric and QuadroFX for the latest pics /info and video. A short one from RT, showing the two prototypes together at MAKS.
On another note , couple of news bits.
Two new prototypes are set to take to the air before the end of this year ( presumably T-50-3 and T-50-4)
http://www.warandpeace.ru/ru/news/view/60861/
…and to date, the programme amassed 84 flights.

Btw, so T-50 didn’t flew today then ? It’s going to be presented tomorrow?
Thanks Flateric. 🙂 So there aren’t any visible constructive differences between the current prototypes and the model of “56”?
Nah , it’s a pic of T-50-2 from march , it show what appears to be serrations on it’s nose ( we were talking about radome shapes earlier ).:)
Just a personal thought. If there’s something to be slighly dissapointed with this MAKS is that i would really liked to have Su-35S-1 (01) and the MiG-35s 961 and 967 shown …
Hope all goes well tomorrow for organizers and participants, and please you guys who are lucky to be there, take some pics of everything and anything of interest (PAK-FA, MiGs, Sukhois, missiles, radars, anything ) for us mortals who can’t even dream to be there … Thanks .:o
PAK-FA mock-up under canvas… Trembling with anticipation . If their mock-up practices will be maintained, at the very least hopefully we’ll see PAK-FA’s planned production version and it’s weapons fit …
