Speaking of Pantsir-S1 , what is the status of UAE order? I was trying to find some reliable info on the net, but it’s fairly confusing. So did the contract went forward, how many have been delivered so far , and any pics of them in service? ( i’ve seen pics of the UAE version on the MAN-i think?- chassis, but it’s unclear if it’s the trials prototype or regular in-service vehicles). Thank you.

Well, the J-31 exists in hardware form , it flies NOW , isn’t it ? Doesn’t matter if PLAAF or PLANAF buys it or not, as long as it will find customers. But anyway, i’ll bet you this WILL be part of PLAAF and/or PLANAF, you’ll see. 🙂

I was mildly excited by this new iranian fighter unveiling thing, i was thinking that perhaps Shafaq went forward , or at least they went forward with that F-5 derivative with RD-33 engines, new wing etc.

But this turns to be a flop. The hell is that ?! That mock-up is in the same class as F-19 and MiG-37, would actually look good as a model, but notwithstanding the fact that obviously this “unveiling” is just for internal consumption , and they get really pathetic with that stupid model they show flying, it can’t even work as an aircraft, those wings and especially intakes does not make any sense. The thing looks good, but it’s more of a video game aircraft, rather than having any anchoring in reality.

Pithy, i actually wanted them to shut the mouths of of their detractors. Unfortunately, they ( the authorities and those stupid idiotic ayatollahs) have embarrassed themselves even more. They need to get rid of the ayatollahs asap.

Don’t worry, I can hold my own in discussions about the Arab-Israeli conflict. I simply did not want to pollute this thread with endless and pointless discussions about a subject that is of little relevance to yesterday’s strikes. If you’re satisfied with an explanation in which Israel is somehow uniquely nefarious, that is it not a country like countless others but rather a uniquely criminal entity, I don’t see this discussion coming to anything.

On the contrary, it has EVERYTHING to do with today’s attack. Oh and i’m affraid there’s nothing for you to hold your own to, if you would actually try to justify your country’s actions in the last decades. And again, like other compatriots of yours, you try to insinuate that the well argumented, unanimous criticism of your country’s actions and policies, coming from pretty much every corner of the civilized world, has only to do with the “fact” that according to your culture (which “fact” is indoctrinated into your every citizen from the day they’re born, disturbingly), everybody hates you because you’re… jewish, rather that having to do with your country’s obvious actions in the last decades, actions visible to every educated enough person. I wonder how many of your fellow countrymen have the strength of character to look in the mirror and say “you know, maybe we’re doing something wrong here after all?”. Mind you , last i know , these peoples, israelis which indeed have strength of character are shunned and bullied in your country, it is not “politically correct” in your country to boycott your settlements, for example.

But i guess, it’s much easier to bury one’s head in the sand and blame others, everyone else but themselves for your own failures and mistakes.

Anyway, enough from me, i guess you’re already categorizing peoples who say things i do as “anti-semites”, evil anti-jews who want to demonize, delegitimize Israel or whatever, which obviously is nothing further from the truth, but i doubt you can see and understand that from your unfortunately very narrow ( mostly religious based-which probably it’s not your fault , as it’s been indoctrinated in your mind since you were a little kid, as i mentioned above) view of the world around.
