If i may ask a question, does anyone know which base are those 2 Su-30SM’s supposed to go ? Is it Lipetsk? Have they arrived yet or they are still at the factory ?
Also does anyone know about when this month the 6 Su-35S’s are supposed to be handed over to VVS ?
Thanks.:)
You know what’s going to follow right ? Any western( usually american) pilot describing how he “kills” another fighter (usually russian) is obviously a testament of the capability and training of said pilot/aircraft. Any non-western (or indeed western) pilot describing how he “kills” an american fighter must be bragging and lying only.
Serbia May Renew Air Force With Russian Fighter Jets, Vucic Says
Serbia is considering Russia’s offer to renew its air force with jets made by state-owned United Aircraft Corp. JSC (UNAC), Defense Minister Aleksandar Vucic said.
The offer came in response to Serbia’s request in 2010 and the government is considering it now because “we are interested in increasing our military power,” Vucic told reporters in Belgrade today, after meeting with Russian Deputy Premier Dmitry Rogozin and United Aircraft Chairman Mikhail Pogosyan. He didn’t specify the type or the number of aircraft.
Serbian news outlets are reporting that Russia has offered MiG-29M and MiG-29M2 and that Serbia may purchase 12 aircrafts ( mix of both types) Beside that on offer is S-300 ( with missiles developed for S-400) and Pantsir AD systems together with range of AD Radars.

It will be great to have MiG-29M2 and S-300PMU and Pantsir under serbian colours. Would be a confirmation that they retain their pride and not be an american *** ( especially after the 1999 events).
It will also be downwright humiliating for their ( considerably) larger neighour in NE, whom politicians (too preoccupied to be noticed by the *** americans, and their own pockets), have left it’s airforce and military as a whole sink to grotesquely impotent levels, never experienced in it’s history, i think. 🙁
Go Serbia.
Actually I don’t consider it that unlikely a possibility. The United States is already a militaristic and nationalistic state and over the next decades it will encounter both internal and external stressors pushing it further in that direction. Frankly, the signs are not encouraging. I expect the late 2020s through early 2030s — the tipping point, as it were — to be a very delicate time in world affairs.
So i’m not crazy then for thinking soon China and Russia (and hopefully, India) will be mankind’s last hope. Perhaps the damn WW3 will happen in my lifetime afterall. Crap. Oh well , at least i can hold an AK47 again. (To shoot at the F-35 of course. Well had to get the F-35 into this one way or the other …:p)

Lexington Institute? Lol! Won’t bother reading anything after that…:)
It is phisically impossible to have an aircraft 50% bigger (at least) , with a bigger engine, and (aparently) a higher percentage of electronic systems, costing the same as an F-16 of whatever mark. It’s just common sense more than anything else.
X-47B First Land-Based Catapult Launch
Is it me or that was a hard landing ? I thought the gear was going to collapse…
Very interesting, thanks for sharing Flanker man. (quite sorry to see Minsk like that , they should take it away from there and transform it into a usable vessel – helicopter carrier, or some training ship – for PLAN! 🙂 )
I may sound a bit unknowledgeable , but the DARIN III is the upgrade sporting new engines also ? Or is that separate? If it has new engines which ones are exactly, and what is the thrust ? Thanks.

Does anyone knows if there will be another batch of Hellducks delivered to RuAF before the end of this year? And if so, how many ? Thanks.:)
RIP Mr. Luo, sad loss in such a special day for Chinese Aviation. 🙁
