Sorry to revive an old thread, but I’m just wondering if anyone has current contact details for Andrew Thomas, please?
Thanks in advance.

Siddeley Radial, perhaps??????
While that is great news, it worries me that we probably only have about three times that number of serviceable Typoons available to defend our island – should the need arise…….
You’re welcome, Ed. I’ll remind my friend to look for photos, but hope you get lucky with the address.
Cheers for now
Andrew
For what it’s worth, ‘Good grouping’ also sounds very plausible to me.
‘Gee gen’ would certainly make sense to me, as ‘gen’ was a frequently used term in those days……
If it’s handwritten, could you be misreading ‘bombing gee’???

Hi powerand passion
I had the pleasure of visiting Laurie Fletcher & his amazing collection, with a friend of mine, many years ago now. He was a lovely chap but I know that, sadly, he died in November 2001.
I do not know what happened to his collection, but my friend has offered to look to see what photos he has from our visit. If any of a Dagger come to light, I will let you know. My friend was also able to confirm that Laurie’s address was 40 Quarn Drive, Allestree, Derby. DE22 2NQ. He believes that Laurie died there and left a son who, at the time of Laurie’s death, was living at the same address.
Perhaps it would be writing to that address, to see if Laurie’s son is still there?
I hope this helps
Andrew
Aharrold. I have a copy, pm me your email address and, hopefully, I can send you what you need.

Not flying, but on trailers going over A15/A17 roundabout near Sleaford, Chipmunk fuselage and Jet Provost nose. Made my day!!
Brilliant news. Delighted to hear it!!
If the current weather us anything to go by, it should prove to be a very welcome addition to the UK airshow scene!!!
Hi all. Well, a lot of the ‘transponder talk’ went over my head but, during a visit to the Flight today the (excellent) guide informed us that the Merlin engined aircraft had briefly been grounded after the supercharger in one of the Spitfires had ‘exploded’ in flight……
An unusual visitor was also there during our visit, as shown in the attached photo.
