Funny, I’ve never seen (or flown) one without wheelpants. Google “Stinson 108” and click on “images.”
Must be you hosers still using all those mud strips.
Yes, well I’m obviously going to be careful what I write around here. Likewise, I clicked through many of my images of 108’s and couldn’t fine one with wheelspats. however they look really smart!

Beautiful restoration!
The Stinson 108 is fairly common in our part of the world (Ontario). One or two generally turn up at most fly-ins. But I cannot recall seeing one with wheel spats.

She looks superb! Many congratulations to those involved. Tremendous effort, especially for an aircraft that’s not exactly high on the glamour stakes.

Nice pics. The Scud glider is tiny!

Looking at the wheels and suspension/steering gear, this looks like some sort of special from the 1930’s. Maybe a Brooklands racer. I wonder what it is.
But the Lotus Cortina in the backround, I had one exactly like that. Oh happy days!

Thanks Mike:
I last visted the Trenton museum in June. One of the volunteer guides told me that C-FETB and the Hercules was to be opened as ‘Walk through’ exhibits at the ‘As Astra’ event in August. I guess that didn’t happen.

Was there an ‘Open House’ at Trenton last weekend (25/26) ? I sisn’t see it advertised anywhere.

The 70th aniversary of the Dieppe raid was a major news item in Canada over the weekend.
CBC news showed a movie clip of the raid (about 1 minute in length) that included clear images of 109’s flying over the beach and an unmistakable camera shot of a Douglas A20 Havoc flying away from the beach.

The Viscount looks good. Is there a 2nd hangar at the BCAM now? The Viscount was outside with a B26 when I visited a few years ago.
