It also leaves some room for carriage of short range missile of R-73 class to be housed close to/inside the undercarriage bay. So all we know this aircraft might have 3 internal weapon bays.

sorry, but you seemingly stuck somewhere in early February, 2010
advice you to *read* the topic before bringing ‘new’ hypothesis

    P.S. it actually has ‘four’

    Why was RD-600 canned Flateric?

because they have compared it to Ardiden

So it appears Ka-60 program was indeed closed a little while ago, but Ka-62 with foreign engines is open, and MOD will get militarized version.

Is this the angle or actuallly the exhausts are bended downwards as opposed to what I have studied

I’ve asked late chief designer of such uncommon decision. Answer was that tests – to their own surprise – have shown that in that case exhaust gases mix with downstream from rotor much more effectively. Mi-28N mechanics meantime say that at grass airfield it’s enough to start engines once or twice to get huge demasking spots of yellowish grass…

deputy chief of Rostechnologii Dmitry Shugayev says at Le Bourget that T-50 will go into series production in 8 years

correction from person who attended his press-con: reporters are lamers. Shugayev was talking not of PAK FA. he was talking of PMI/FGFA

Didn’t the PAKFA have its first taxiing tests in December 2009 and first flight in January 2010. Given the close dates, he could just have been confused or have been misinterpreted.

It’s not the first time when hi-ranked Rostekhnologii and Oboronprom staff are ‘confused’. In spring of 2009 Oboronprom chief (Oboronprom is subsidary to Rostekhnologii) Andrey Reus was sure that Sikorsky X2 just ‘have started ground tests’ and ‘going to make first flight next year’.
    Audience was confused, too.

    want more jokes?

deputy chief of Rostechnologii Dmitry Shugayev says at Le Bourget that T-50 will go into series production in 8 years (guy also thinks that T-50 have here maiden flight in 2009)

    http://www.i-mash.ru/news/nov_otrasl/14417-pak-fa-pojjdet-v-seriju-cherez-8-let.html

it was clear from the beginning that date of PAK FA serial production start (2015) given to PM Putin before were total BS, but I wonder how they they have balls to declare such massive time gap at international airshow – and what they going to tell him now.

and – how you can stay at that position with such level of incompetence
