This is the suppossed wind tunnel model of the “chinese Hawkeye”.
Of course. In this universe, this is E-2D WT model in BLR Aerospace wind tunnel.
it’s a week old news
Jon Wright (jw2513) was a first to reveal thing to the world on April, 16

No PAK-FA display at MAKS > http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/the-dewline/2011/05/f-15e-somehow-steals-moscow-ai.html 😡
I can’t get how Borisov’s words of ‘PAK FA program leaders are working on to show T-50 at MAKS’ transformed into ‘no PAK FA at MAKS’
sometimes permission to show something at MAKS (to be included in ‘List #1’ signed by President is being received at the first day of exibition – Ken must remember KTRV’s Kh-58UShKE, Kh-31AD and NIIPs T-50 radar hidden under canvas at initial days of MAKS.
Engines seem rather smokey in this pic…
our kerosine is not always to JP standarts
btw, if you will search, you will find a bunch of photos/videos of YF-22/YF-23/F-22A with smoke traces
I pressume there are some more extensive ground tests on it before flying ?
your logic works good
this is 50-1, second prototype didn’t fly yet at LII
Paralay is just photoshopping in the late 80`s/early 90`s patent drawings for a potential 2D TVS.
patent filed 05.06.2008, issued 10.03.2010
As we know, the final PAK-FA nozzle has been reported to be `2.5 D` whatever that means, not `2D`
any proof? AFAIR, thee was only reported by Saturn’s Marchukov that they are developing *flat*nozzles for ‘second stage’ engine for PAK FA (as of April 2010) and and already have prepared tech drawings for TVC nozzle with reverse system

a n00b question, are those internal bays conjoint ?
no way
Yes, sure. Comrade Mikhail Badrocke also did his input, I guess?
there apparently were some leaks from Hawthorne and Pico Rivera in 80s on ATB bits and pieces – but interestingly, B-2 external shape was apparently not known to Soviet ‘national services’ till November 1988 as – it can be said – design sketches of its Soviet rival being made prior roll-out highly resembled variations of famous Revell ATB model kit and was at level roughly as LO shapes were seen in 60-70s at West – rounded edges, sleeky forms, etc
Know nothing of F-117A leaks, but seems that Skunk Works security was tight. In spite of the fact that faceted shapes were directly connected to LO aircraft in early 80s AIAA paper written by AFRL guy – including faceted LO aircraft drawing, first F-117 photo was revealing for aerospace engineers I knew.

50-2 arrived to UUBW today from Komsomolsk-on-Amur via Khabarovsk onboard of An-124 RA-82013

Is there an original, larger photo? Thanks.
