Mike, this probably sounds a lot ruder than it should, but I think this is getting too personal to be on a public forum .

( I’m paranoid about being told I’m chatting, since it seems only females do this ).The point is, I don’t want any technical knowledge and conversations that fascinate blokes like whether the dingle-dangle’s bigger on the MkIII or the MkIV bore me to tears.I like being around old flying boats, and that’s it,so if the conversation turns technical I’m a spare part.Plus it makes me feel a bit of a fraud as well,if you see what I mean. (sorry rocketeer.I’ve always wanted to see the hawk conservancy place but Mr. Bee’s not bothered.)

It’s a few years since I was there and if I remember rightly the visitor centre was a bit tacky, but reading some of the local accounts of seeing a huge horse-headed creature suddenly rearing up out of the water was enough for me to make sure we were well away from the loch before nightfall .

What do they say? Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. Honestly though I’d seriously consider it, would be great to meet at least one other foumite considering the fact that I’ve probably walked past countless forumites at Legends without knowing who they are.

Sounds a good idea. There’s possibly a forum meeting next year on a specialised forum I like. Can’t decide whether to go,given everyone on it has so much more technical knowledge than me .
