    Marriage is fine in small doses – Mr. Bee is watching the Eurovision song contest and hasn’t even noticed I’m listening to my MP3 player so I can’t hear any of it.It’s sweet that your girlfriend likes to know what you’re doing.

    Thanks lady and gents,that’s been really helpful.Just got to persuade Mr. Bee to settle on one now.He’s a Libran,and choosing one from several options sends him into a proper tizzy.Sometimes it can take years.

    Dittto! But we had ours dipped in Champagne. It was some spare stuff that was swingin in the door of the fridge.

    You’re being too hard on yourself. Virtually all the older divorced blokes I know started again,invariably with a younger model,and you must be a decent sort to have been married twice.Must be a strain keeping the e mails quiet though .

    That’s another of my problems. I’m no longer in the first flush of youth either. I’m still in contact with my ex and I’ll admit now that if the opportunity presented itself I’d welcome her back tomorrow.

    You’re not that old.Plenty of time to start again .
