Because children that young generally relate to females, and given what happened to her, i.e. being raped when she was TWO, she might be a little scared of men.

How naive do you think I am ,of course she should be questioned,I just think there must be a better way of going about it .A four year old is little more than a baby and one change I’d like to see is to have her questioned by female lawyers who might seem less intimidating.

Yes, but the people who shouted those comments are low life, good for nothing ignorant excuses for human beings and people like that will always exist. Sadly these people have neither the intelligence nor the inclination to just be nice people, and as sad as it is, we have to accept that. Your friend can be safe in the knowledge she’s 1000 times the person they will ever be, regardless of what they shout.

“Low life” eh?Look at some of the previous comments on here (again, not directed at anyone personally). The attitude that made those men shout at her is quite OK among intelligent people. She’s pretty big now,but I don’t want to turn anyone’s stomach.

OK sorry missed that! What’s so wrong about calling her fat ? Or are we so aghast at the word we can’t bear to say it any more ? I just got back from seeing a friend who told me a group of workmen had catcalled her on the way to the cafê calling her a lardy cow and she should cut down on the chips. This woman is 56 years old and being treated for breast cancer with drugs that make her put on weight, yet a group of grown men thought nothing of shouting casual insults at her. It’s just typical of what fat people put up with day after day .

You can hardly pretend anyone who weighs 29 stone isn’t fat. It’s interesting that you pick up on my calling her FAT and don’t comment on anyone calling her a disgrace, should be sterilised etc. ( n.b. These comments aren’t aimed at anyone personally ).

Was the horse OK? Nothing to make me smile today yet but it has until midnight to change.

There was a photo of Camilla beside a horse in my paper recently. If I’d been the editor I’d have sacrificed my job to print the caption ” The Duchess of Cornwall ( left ) ” .

You’re right, she does. What she and other fat people don’t need is the constant casual verbal cruelty they get.Oh,and I’m less than delighted that my taxes will be supporting her and her casually-conceived trio for the next God knows how many years, but then she’s not the only one in that position.( Four WEEKS ? It took me years, dammit ) .
